In a significant step toward empowering the younger generation, the Trust has awarded scholarships and bursaries to deserving students across all levels of education, including primary school pupils. The award ceremonies, held last December on two separate occasions, provided much-needed financial support to ease the burden on families while inspiring students to strive for academic excellence. This initiative highlights the Trust\u2019s belief in education as a cornerstone of community development and progress.<\/p>\n

In a remarkable display of its dedication to shaping young minds, the Board of Trustees unanimously resolved to extend bursary awards to all pupils in the communities\u2019 primary schools, regardless of whether they applied. This groundbreaking decision underscores the Trust\u2019s unwavering commitment to education as a transformative force. By ensuring that every primary school child benefits, UAAA HCDT is breaking barriers, fostering inclusivity, and laying a strong foundation for academic success.<\/p>\n

To date, the Trust has awarded a total of 350 scholarships and bursaries across primary, secondary, and tertiary education levels, reaffirming its steadfast commitment to expanding access to quality education and empowering future generations.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Trust is also making tangible impacts on infrastructure, particularly in road construction. Ongoing projects in Ugama Ekede and Asukoyet aim to address long-standing challenges of poor mobility, especially during the rainy season. These roads are expected to enhance commerce and socioeconomic activities, making it easier for residents to access markets, schools, and healthcare facilities.<\/p>

In addition to road construction, the Trust is implementing critical projects such as the construction of drainage systems, concrete embankments, and the provision of water. These interventions are essential for improving sanitation, reducing the impact of flooding, and ensuring access to clean water, which is vital for health and wellbeing.
With these ongoing efforts, the UAAA HCDT continues to demonstrate its steadfast dedication to sustainable development, improving the quality of life for the people of Ugama Ekede, Ayama Ekede, Asukama, and Asukoyet.<\/p>

Spreading Joy : Christmas Livelihood <\/span>
Intervention
In the spirit of the festive season, the UAAA HCDT brought smiles and a sense of community to its people through its Christmas Livelihood Intervention. Bags of rice were distributed across the four communities as a token of celebration and care.<\/p>

This thoughtful initiative was more than just a gesture; it was a reflection of the Trust\u2019s deep-rooted commitment to the welfare of its people.   • Ayama Ekede Borehole Repairs and Water Reticulation :<\/span> Restoring access to clean and reliable water.<\/li>
  • Concrete Embankment : <\/span>Protecting against erosion and improving community safety.<\/li>
  • Box Culvert : <\/span>Facilitating effective water drainage and infrastructure stability.<\/li>
  • Town Hall : <\/span>Providing a central space for community gatherings and activities.<\/li><\/ul>

    Upcoming Events<\/h2>

    The HCDT has a lined up events:<\/p>

    • Commissioning of Completed Projects such as Asukama Community Town Hall, Asukama BoX Culvert<\/li>
    • AGM: The AGM would happen in April 24, 2025. The Annual General Meeting is a statutory Event. The HCDT will provide account of stewardship the stakeholders, this will afford the people opportunity ask question and interact with the people. It is also a feedback session.<\/li>
    • Advocacy Visits to relevant Government and Donor Agencies for partnership<\/li>
